Dua for Relief from Debt & Grief

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ

Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika minal-hammi wal-ḥazani, wal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wal-bukhli wal-jubni, wa ḍala'id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijāl.

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debt, and the oppression of men."

Purpose: Overcoming financial debts, mental health struggles, laziness, and intimidation.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ

Allāhumma innī 'abduka, wabnu 'abdika, wabnu amatika, nāṣiyatī bi-yadika, māḍin fiyya ḥukmuka, 'adlun fiyya qaḍā'uk...

"O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed, and Your decree over me is just..."

Purpose: Removes sadness, replaces sorrow with relief and heart contentment.

Dua for Relief when Facing Hardship (Easy Task)

اللَّهُمَّ لاَ سَهْلَ إِلاَّ مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلاً

Allāhumma lā sahla illā mā ja'altahū sahlā, wa anta taj'alul-ḥazna idhā shi'ta sahlā.

"O Allah, there is no ease except in that which You have made easy, and You make difficulty, if You wish, easy."

Purpose: Unlocking difficult tasks, exams, tough work projects, or complex negotiations.

Dua when Facing Financial Loss or Disaster (Inna lillahi...)

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا

Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rāji'ūn, Allāhumma'-jurnī fī muṣībatī wa akhlif lī khayram-minhā.

"We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. O Allah, reward me in my affliction and replace it for me with something better."

Purpose: Recited immediately upon hearing tragic news, loss of job, loss of property, or death.
