Install the Quran Transliteration App
Add the full Qur'an — with transliteration, translation, and audio — to your phone, tablet, or computer. Read offline, launch instantly, and enjoy a clean full-screen experience. It installs in seconds, straight from your browser.
Follow the quick steps for your device below to add the app to your home screen.
Why install it?
It's a Progressive Web App (PWA) — all the convenience of a native app, none of the bloat.
Read offline
Once installed, the full Qur'an — Arabic, transliteration, and translation — opens even with no internet, so you can read on a plane, on the metro, or anywhere signal drops.
Instant launch
The app opens from your home screen in a fraction of a second, straight to the reader, with no browser bars or tabs in the way.
Distraction-free
A clean, full-screen experience built for focus and reflection — no address bar, no ads pulling your attention away from the Qur'an.
Private & lightweight
No account, no sign-up, and no tracking to read. It takes only a few megabytes — a tiny fraction of a typical app-store download.
Always up to date
Because it's a web app, you always get the latest surahs, tools, and fixes automatically — there's nothing to manually update.
All the tools, one tap away
Prayer times, Qibla direction, the tasbih counter, and the full reader all live behind a single icon on your home screen.

Frequently asked questions
Is the app free?
Yes, completely free. There's no purchase, no subscription, and no account required. You install it straight from your browser.
Do I need the Google Play Store or Apple App Store?
No. Quran Transliteration is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so it installs directly from this website. There's nothing to download from an app store.
Will it work offline?
Yes. After you install it and open it once, the reader and its core content are cached on your device, so you can keep reading the Qur'an even without an internet connection. Live features such as fresh audio streaming still need a connection the first time.
How much storage does it use?
Only a few megabytes — far less than a typical native app. It stores the app shell and the pages you visit, not gigabytes of media.
Why don't I see an "Install" button?
A few reasons: you may already have it installed, you might be on iPhone/iPad (where you install manually through Safari's Share menu), or your browser may not support installation. Follow the step-by-step guide for your device above.
How do I uninstall it?
Just like any other app: press and hold the icon on your home screen and choose Remove/Uninstall, or remove it from your browser's installed-apps settings on desktop.
Is my reading private?
Yes. You don't need to sign in to read, and the app doesn't require a personal account. Your device simply caches pages locally for offline use.
