    إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى

    The best among you are those who have the best character and manners.

    مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ

    Man salaka tareeqan yaltamisu feehi 'ilman sahhalallahu lahu bihi tareeqan ilal Jannah

    Whoever treads a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.

    لَيْسَ الشَّدِيدُ بِالصُّرَعَةِ، إِنَّمَا الشَّدِيدُ الَّذِي يَمْلِكُ نَفْسَهُ عِنْدَ الْغَضَبِ

    Laysash-shadeedu bis-sura'ati, innamash-shadeedul-ladhee yamliku nafsahu 'indal-ghadab

    The strong person is not the one who can wrestle others down; the strong person is the one who controls himself in a fit of anger.

    La yu'minu ahadukum hatta yuhibba li-akheehi ma yuhibbu li-nafsih

    None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.

    مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ

    Man kana yu'minu billahi wal-yawmil-akhiri fal-yaqul khayran aw li-yasmut

    Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent.

    مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ مُؤْمِنٍ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا نَفَّسَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

    Man naffasa 'an mu'minin kurbatan min kurabid-dunya naffasallahu 'anhu kurbatan min kurabi yawmil-qiyamah

    Whoever relieves a believer of a distress in this world, Allah will relieve him of a distress on the Day of Resurrection.

    عَجَبًا لأَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِنَّ أَمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ وَلَيْسَ ذَاكَ لأَحَدٍ إِلاَّ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ

    Ajaban li-amril-mu'min, inna amrahu kullahu khayr, wa laysa dhaka li-ahadin illa lil-mu'min

    How wonderful is the affair of the believer! Everything that happens to him is good, and this is for no one except the believer.

  12. 12. The Best Remembrance (Dhikr)

    Remembrance of Allah

    أَفْضَلُ الذِّكْرِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَفْضَلُ الدُّعَاءِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

    Afdaludh-dhikri La ilaha illallah, wa afdalud-du'a-i Al-hamdulillah

    The best remembrance is 'La ilaha illallah' (There is no god but Allah), and the best supplication is 'Alhamdulillah' (Praise be to Allah).

    Universal Mercy

    الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمَنُ، ارْحَمُوا مَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ

    Ar-raahimoona yarhamuhumur-Rahman. Irhamoo man fil-ardi yarhamkum man fis-samaa'

    Those who show mercy will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Show mercy to those on the earth, and the One in the heavens will show mercy to you.

  14. 14. Best Provision for the Hereafter

    Legacy & Continuous Reward

    إِذَا مَاتَ الإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ ثَلاَثَةٍ: إِلاَّ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ

    Idha mata-nil-insanu inqata'a 'anhu 'amaluhu illa min thalath: illa min sadaqatin jariyah, aw 'ilmin yuntafa'u bih, aw waladin salihin yad'u lah

    When a person dies, all their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.

  15. 15. Pleasing Parents is Pleasing Allah

    Honor to Parents

    رِضَى الرَّبِّ فِي رِضَى الْوَالِدِ، وَسَخَطُ الرَّبِّ فِي سَخَطِ الْوَالِدِ

    Ridar-Rabbi fee ridal-walidi, wa sakhatur-Rabbi fee sakhatil-walid

    The satisfaction of the Lord is found in the satisfaction of the parent, and the displeasure of the Lord is found in the displeasure of the parent.
